World Studies is the required course for ninth-grade students at Mountain Valley High School.  This course is designed to teach students about several regions of the world and significant historical events that took place in those regions since the early 20th Century.  It is my hope as an instructor that the students that take this course will finish the year better understanding the world they live in and the events that helped shape that world.
